The IPPF Planning Committee is the strategic backbone of the organization. The IPPF Energy Storage Committee focuses on the technologies and systems that enable reliable, resilient, and scalable energy storage. From advanced battery technologies and grid-scale storage systems to emerging long-duration and distributed storage solutions, this committee examines the critical role storage plays in balancing supply and demand across modern energy networks. 

The IPPF Gas & LNG Committee addresses the evolving role of natural gas and liquefied natural gas in the global energy mix. Recognizing gas as both a foundational energy source and a transition fuel, the committee explores upstream development, midstream logistics, LNG infrastructure, trading markets, and geopolitical considerations. Discussions include supply security, decarbonization pressures, infrastructure financing, and the modernization of gas systems.

The IPPF Hydrogen Committee examines hydrogen’s growing potential as a strategic energy carrier and industrial fuel. The committee analyzes production methods—including green, blue, and emerging pathways—along with transportation, storage, infrastructure buildout, and commercial deployment. The IPPF Green, Clean & Renewable Energy Committee focuses on solar, wind, hydro, biomass, geothermal, and other renewable technologies shaping the future of power generation. The committee addresses grid integration, intermittency challenges, financing models, and the evolving policy frameworks that drive renewable adoption. It also evaluates how renewable systems interact with traditional generation sources to create balanced, resilient energy portfolios.

The IPPF Deal Flow Committee serves as a structured platform for identifying, evaluating, and facilitating energy sector transactions. The committee focuses on mergers and acquisitions, project finance, infrastructure investment, and cross-border capital deployment. By bringing together operators, developers, financiers, and advisors, this group enhances visibility into emerging opportunities while maintaining discretion and professional standards.

The IPPF Data Center Power Committee addresses one of the most rapidly expanding demands on global energy systems: powering data centers. With the acceleration of AI, cloud computing, and digital infrastructure, reliable and scalable power solutions have become mission-critical. This committee examines generation strategies, grid capacity, onsite generation, storage integration, and regulatory challenges associated with supporting high-density digital infrastructure worldwide.

The IPPF Technology Innovation Committee explores breakthrough technologies reshaping the energy sector.
